Chief Executive Officer, Doncaster Chamber
Dan Fell is the Chief Executive Officer at Doncaster Chamber, an award winning Chamber of Commerce. Dan has ultimate responsibility for the delivery of the Chamber's Strategic Vision, Business Plan and Budget; he is the youngest ever Chief Executive of an accredited Chamber of Commerce in the UK.
Doncaster Chamber has a membership base that, collectively, accounts for c60% of private sector turnover in the borough. Chamber is renowned for the strength of its policy and lobbying activities including being a thought leader on work and skills issues.
In addition to this the Chamber offers a range of services to local employers including growth, supply chain and international trade support. The Chamber also involves itself heavily in the education sector and provides work readiness support to almost 10,000 learners per academic year.
Dan works closely with senior business leaders locally and also with a broad range of partners, including: MP's, the Bank of England, Senior Civil Servants and local stakeholders such as the Mayor of Doncaster, Doncaster MBC, Doncaster College and the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership to support economic development in the region. Dan is also Chairman of Enterprising Doncaster, the Chairman of the Doncaster University Technical College Proposing Group and a Director at CAST Theatre.
Dan has an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature and a Masters degree in Politics, both from the University of Sheffield.
