Highways and legal issues around logistics are set to be discussed at the next Sheffield City Region Logistics Hub UK (LHUK) event.
The breakfast event, which will take place on May 23 at The Holiday Inn A1 Junc 36, is free to attend and is open to all businesses with an interest in logistics.
Steve Swann, project manager of the LHUK project, said: “Our free events are a great way for businesses in the logistics sector to keep up to date with what is happening in the industry and to share best practice.
“Our key note speakers, Mandy Foster from Highways England and Lindsey Clegg, a Partner in Freeths’ disputes team, will be sharing their thoughts on connectivity, legal issues and giving an insight into their operations.
“We have a very strong logistics sector in this region and these meetings are a real showcase for what we are delivering.”
The LHUK group is a membership group established to represent powerful partnership marketing for Sheffield City Region’s logistic sector. It is a partnership of private sector companies committed to the ongoing growth, development and promotion of the logistics and distribution sector in the Sheffield City Region initially, with a view to developing improved activity with other city regions i.e. Leeds, Manchester and Hull.
