How have recent increases to the National Living Wage affected your business?

The Low Pay Commission is consulting on future increases to the National Living Wage (NLW) and BCC will be responding on behalf of Chambers and members.

The Commission is tasked with increasing the NLW to 60% of median earnings by 2020 (approx. £8.61 per hour).   This is likely to require above-inflation increases for the next 2 years.

How have recent increases to the NLW affected your business?

What % increase to the NLW should be recommended for 2019?
