This workshop will be delivered by Ben Hales, who has a background in English language teaching.
He’s taught Business English in China and the UK and now trains financial staff in report writ-ing. He helps businesses write clear, concise and persuasive copy for their websites and marketing material.
His own website justwrite.info has regular tips for improving your writing skills.
Why do this course?
We all want our writing to get read and to influence people. The blogger who wants to attract readers. The small business owner who wants their brochure to get attention. The manager who wants to impress the board. The boss who wants to inspire their staff.
Companies need to write persuasively to attract peo-ple’s attention and make them believe in their prod-ucts, services and ideas. Learn how to empathise better and use clear language that draws people in.
Having attended this half day course you will:

- Develop ways to empathise with your reader
- Write with clarity and conciseness
- Avoid types of language that turns readers off
- Structure your writing strategically
- Use persuasive language such as rhetoric to win people over
