Is this event for you?

Is this you…..?

  • I open an email, read the email, close it, possibly mark it unread, and possibly do that 2 or 3 further times before I actually action it ….and I do that every 5 minutes!
  • My day is unstructured - I ‘interrupt myself’ by opening emails I don’t need to read here and now!
  • My ‘To Do’ list and the number of entries in my Inbox just seem to grow and grow as the day goes on!

Why should I attend?

So, are you using email efficiently and effectively, or has it become a business hindrance, the metaphorical ‘elephant’ which has taken over your desk space/office but more importantly your brain space and is just getting in the way?  If you answered ‘yes’ to one or more of the above questions (be honest!), all you are doing is feeding the elephant.

Wouldn’t it be great to leave work today with an empty Inbox and an organised way of working so that you leave work tomorrow with an empty Inbox as well?  Business utopia, or a realistic way of working?  It’s both – Join us for this hour seminar and say goodbye to the elephant! Use emails more efficiently.

Andy Hogg's Bio:

Andy Hogg, also joint Owner/Director of The IT Trainer, is an IT Specialist with proven teaching and technical skills gained during the 24 years he has worked within the IT Industry. Andy brings a wealth of knowledge to The IT Trainer, combining a unique, friendly and focussed training style with the ability to recognise the skill levels of the students and to tailor the training to meet each student’s specific requirements.  A graduate of De Montfort University (B.Sc Mathematics), Andy also has MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) accreditations.

Andy’s method of IT training has been described as “IT Coaching”, with the emphasis being placed on the student to perform all the tasks, under Andy’s careful guidance. This style of teaching is entirely appropriate to The IT Trainer and allows each of the courses to be entirely flexible, thus ensuring a maximum return on investment.

Company Description:

Established in April 2004, The IT Trainer has a proven track record in providing IT training solutions to meet the specific requirements of their clients. These solutions can be delivered either on-site, via the web and placed on your own company’s website, Intranet or Portal.  Whatever your IT Training requirements, we can help you. We pride ourselves on being totally flexible with the solutions we provide and do not take a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We recognise that all of our clients’ training needs are different, and therefore we do not deliver syllabus based courses, thus ensuring that we deliver exactly what we promise in our strapline………. “We only teach the stuff you need!”
