Join the Department for International Trade (DIT) and Doncaster Chamber as we share insights on doing business in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE is the UK's largest export market in the Middle East. In 2017, Yorkshire and the Humber businesses exported £228 million worth of goods and services to the UAE, and there are still plenty of opportunities for businesses like yours.

During this half-day event, discover how your business can enter this valuable market and find great opportunities for exporting. We will be joined by Joe Hepworth, the CEO for British Centres for Business in Dubai, who will be providing his unique, on-the-ground insight into the UAE as a marketplace for UK businesses. You'll also gain insight from our International Trade Advisers and International e-Commerce Advisers, as well as an introduction to the Halal marketplace with Saeeda Ahmed (Aladdin Street.)

During this half-day event you will:

  • Discover how to enter the UAE as a marketplace.
  • Find out how to make your products suitable for a Halal market.
  • Gain insight on attending trade shows and exhibitions in the UAE and what's coming up.
  • Find out how e-Marketplaces can grow your business.
  • See how to find your own export opportunities and how to progress them.
  • Get real-life tips and advice from a Yorkshire company who is already exporting in the Middle East.
  • Have the opportunity to speak with several experts with pre-booked roundtable and 1-2-1 sessions.

Due to the popularity of our courses, companies are limited to one delegate per workshop. Any additional delegates may be removed. Please get in contact with the events team to discuss special circumstances.

If after booking you are unable to attend please notify us at least 48 hours prior to the event.
