DN Colleges Group

Joining the Chamber makes you part of something much bigger, with us having strong ties to the local authority, South Yorkshire’s top education providers, government departments, the Team Doncaster strategic partnership and, of course, the national British Chambers of Commerce network. Another one of these valued partners is DN Colleges Group.

About DN Colleges Group

Spanning multiple sites — which in turn serve several communities, economies and counties — DN Colleges Group is best known for its largest campus, which is based right here in the heart of Doncaster.

Enabling its students to learn and develop high-value skills, the group helps prepare local people for the world of work and inspires thousands each year to unlock their full potential.

Via a staff of 1200 staff, they offer a wide range of further education, adult education and higher education choices, as well as professional & technical qualifications, apprenticeships, and other bespoke courses.

Of their 16,000 students, 6,000 are adults, 4,500 are in the16–18 age bracket, 2,500 are apprentices and 2,500 are in higher education. There are also around 190 high needs pupils studying at Doncaster College as well.

How They Work With Business

DN Colleges Group support the national and regional higher skills agenda by investing in T Levels, HTQs, Institutes of Technology (IoT), higher education and apprenticeships as key areas of growth. They also work closely with university partners to ensure that career pathways are in place for their students.

In addition to this, the group partners with neighbouring providers across all regions and has been successful in securing funding collaboratively as well. Examples of the latter include: Skills Development Funding; Local Skills Improvement Funds; and Skills Injection Funding (two tranches).
