As part of our overarching LSIP Project, the three South Yorkshire Chambers are producing a series of Knowledge and Insight Reports that offer up-to-date intelligence on employer needs across the region.
Informed by in-depth interviews with a mixture of SMEs and larger companies, these documents not only highlight the various skills-related challenges that South Yorkshire’s businesses are facing right now but also identify potential solutions for addressing them.
They cover everything from employer views on automation to their recent experiences trying to recruit young talent, and what they’d like to see going forward from local education & training providers.
We hope that these findings will be of interest and that they help shed further light on how specific industries can be best supported when it comes to its skills needs.
