To encourage more South Yorkshire businesses to invest in their workforce development, the three regional Chambers of Commerce (those being the respective networks for Doncaster, Sheffield and Barnsley & Rotherham) are introducing new “Knowledge and Skills Zones” to some of their existing events.

In a nutshell, these will be areas where training providers and other relevant partners can set up expo stands, with a goal of showcasing the various projects and services they have to offer.

It is essentially a way of bringing the skills marketplace directly to employers — at events that they already happen to be attending— and showing them what support is out there when it comes to their people & skills needs.

The upcoming events at which Knowledge and Skills Zones will be integrated can be seen in the list below.
